Once again, HIPRA reaffirms its leadership in the Mediterranean aquaculture sector with its participation in Aquaculture Europe 2025, this year marking a milestone by joining for the first time as a Silver Sponsor

The conference, organized by the European Aquaculture Society (EAS), took place from September 22 to 25 at Palacio de Congresos de Valencia, bringing together over 3,000 aquaculture professionals from more than 70 countries. This consolidates the event as the most influential in the European aquaculture sector and a key international reference point in the fields of science, industry and innovation.

During the event, Isabel Artime, Spain’s Secretary General for Fisheries, who has also visited HIPRA’s booth, highlighted the growing relevance of aquaculture, stating that “in 2022, global aquaculture production surpassed wild fisheries for the first time, demonstrating the sector’s growth potential. Sustainable aquaculture and fishing are complementary, productive activities that are essential to meeting the increasing global demand for healthy and nutritious aquatic food.”

In this context, HIPRA’s presence at Aquaculture Europe 2025 reflects its ongoing commitment to advancing fish health and productivity. The company continues to prioritize innovation, sustainability, and animal welfare, thus contributing to a more resilient and promising future for global aquaculture.
